Hello and welcome to my blog series, Deathwork Diaries, where I will share experiences I've had, in order to demonstrate that there's no one way to do it.
Not so long ago, an older gentleman came through to me, I estimate he was in his 70s or 80s. I don't know his name, let's call him Ernest. He was a sprightly chap, and had a hundred questions about who I was and why he suddenly found himself in my living room. An understandable response as his last conscious memory was of being in bed at home!
Many spirits ask me these questions. Not all, some seem to have an inherent understanding of what's happening. So there was a back and forth conversation going, which had a great flow to it, which is nice as that isn't always the case.
Typical questions are: "who are you?" "Why am I here," "What happens next?" And, surprisingly "What about Jesus?" A huge amount of people that were atheists their whole lives suddenly find themselves in a stranger's lounge, questioning everything they ever believed. Is he real and can they meet him, are the next 2 most popular questions.
Back to Ernest; we had a good back and forth and he cracked a few jokes. I think he had known his time was coming. He asked me "how much crazy juice I gotta drink to cope with all these dead folk rocking up in my house." Always a delight when people are good-natured; much like the living, some can be unpleasant individuals. My answer was that my crazy juice is tea, and I asked him what he wanted to do and where he'd like to go. He was brilliant, I'll never forget his response. "Well Jesus wasn't hiding behind the sofa this whole time, so I think I'll go on my own, thanks." He chuckled to himself and winked at me; he must've been quite the character. With that, he went into the light.
Not all my Deathwork Diaries are going to be recounting pleasant souls. Stay tuned to see what I share next!
